Emily K Iseman
BIO
Emily K Iseman first studied cognitive science at York University before returning to school for ceramics. She makes work on the continuum of sculpture, material exploration, and design objects. Propelled equally by creative pursuit and technical investigation, she applies innovative methods of digital fabrication along with traditional hand building techniques. Her work explores themes of space, and related concepts, such as dimension, force, and materiality. Influences can be seen of architecture, physics, and the absurd.
