Zhuoran Huang
BIO
Zhuoran Huang was born in Henan, China. She graduated from high school in China in 2015, then studied Information Management and Information Systems at Kunming University of Science and Technology. Her interests and passion for art led her to Sheridan College in Canada, where she studies glass craft design. Zhuoran's glass sculptures attempt to capture the essence of human emotion. She emphasizes the expressive characteristics of glass as a medium, which can capture the imagination and emotions of the viewer directly and immediately.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
MONOTONY
The artist's glass sculpture reflects her reflection on the unchanging life under the covid-19. Through her work, she hopes to convey how hopeless and sad life is during the lockdown period. At the same time, the artist also hopes that the artwork will remind him not to be stuck in her way and fall into anxiety.
