CAPSTONE PROJECT
STERILE GRIP
A wide range of bacteria cause people to get sick in everyday life, and they are usually infected in two ways: through airborne or skin contact. Germs can linger in the air and on objects and our hands are the "bridge" between the human body and germs since we often use germ-infested hands to touch our eyes or eat food unintentionally, which could lead bacteria to enter the body and causes us to get sick. A door handle is an object that we frequently touch, and there are many potential bacteria that may be left on its surface. Therefore, I'm going to design a touchless tool that helps reduce the risk of people getting sick by touching germs and bacteria were left on the door handle.
