David Cobus is a furniture designer and maker from the Ottawa Valley. His work is considerate and emphasizes sensuous forms and materials, with the intention of being more than just functional. He is interested in the sculptural qualities of different materials and has a special fascination for the technical aspects of fabrication.

LOUNGING
This work is about conceiving of the lounge space as dynamic rather than static, more dressed up than dressed down. It prioritizes comfort, sensuous materials and atmosphere.
