Solace is an ambient light inspired by philosophies found in Jun'ichirō Tanizaki’s book, In Praise of Shadows. Embracing natural materials, soft light, and shadow are the main inspirations, while also mirroring forms found in seashells in a sculptural adaptation. Solace creates a feeling of comfort and ease while being a functional and sculptural centrepiece for the home.
