BIO
I have always loved art, even from a young age. Whether it's working with glass, wood, ceramics, digital modelling, drawing, taking pictures, or cosplaying, I love the freedom of creating! As a detail-oriented person, my work tends to be small-scale and intricate. I always try to push the boundaries of both my skills and the material I am working with. My inspiration varies widely – from emotions, to nature, and to anime and video games, it doesn't matter as long as I can create!
CAPSTONE PROJECT
アニ夢 (ANIYUME)
Aniyume aims to explore fan art in the form of glass, combining an increasing market and a niche craft. Art is an expression of emotion, and fan art is similar: an expression of appreciation to the mangaka and animators who create such compelling characters. Anime means more than a show to me and has helped me overcome difficult times in my life. Aniyume contains a jewellery series as well as a dip pen inspired by some of my favourite characters. Each piece is an exploration of the character’s unique personality and design, and portrayed through intricate and sculptural glasswork.
