Xiaoyu Wu is a ceramics sculpture artist that create sculpture pieces of human and animal bodies that showcase the body deformation and the beauty of raw clay surfaces, that bring out all kinds of raw emotions within the viewers.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
BODY
Through my sculptures of human and animal bodies, I aim to showcase the beauty of the body in a wild and violent way. I believe that strength and vulnerability are inherent qualities of the human and animal body, and they are the beauty of the body. The vibrancy of life, and the fragility of existence.
