Rebecca is an artist from Chatham-kent. They have an obsession with animals and animal facts and are always willing to share this information. You have no choice, the information will be shared. The animals will be known. The animals will make themselves heard. They will haunt your dreams and every waking moment, you will see them. Vague glass animals sitting in your peripheral, waiting for weakness to be shown.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
A-Z ANIMALS OF GLASS
A-Z Animals is a series of glass animals carved from recycled and found glass. Various different shapes and sizes, each attempting to encapsulate the right vibe from each animal and be recognizable while still maintaining an abstract style, minimizing details and giving each animal a unique style and sandblast softness. They are connected by the fact they are animals, and different from each other because they are animals, each made different sizes, colours and textures, each made from different chunks of glass to be as unique as animals always are.
