Tobin Nickle-Lott
BIO
My name is Tobin Nickle-Lott and I've finished my craft and design degree as an industrial design student. My main design focus going forward is going to be props design and other fictitious design. My interests lie less in commercial work and more on the expressive capacities that design can have.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
DESIGNING FOR STORY
This project acts as a study of industrial design when constrained by a fictional context. The goal is to produce contextually accurate objects that don’t compromise any functionality or user considerations. By doing this, The work respects both the hypothetical user’s needs and the suspension of disbelief the work intends to elicit in its audience.
