Emily Innes
BIO
Emily Innes is an artist working at the intersection of sculpture, technology, and critical theory. Her installations use mechanized systems, AI, and industrial materials to explore themes of voyeurism, dehumanization, and the algorithmic performance of intimacy. Drawing from feminist theory and digital culture, her work interrogates how systems of control, consumption, and surveillance restructure relationships and the self. Innes’ practice merges research-driven inquiry with material experimentation, creating works that translate emotional and bodily processes into programmed, machine-driven gestures.
