Charlotte Bridge

BIO

Charlotte Bridge is a ceramic artist originally from Ottawa, Ontario, currently completing a bachelor of fine arts at Sheridan College. Working in sculpture and semi-functional wares, her practice is rooted in exploring the relationships between herself and her surroundings. Drawing inspiration from found objects and the natural world, Charlotte's work explores texture, form, and function through a tactile and mixed media-driven approach. She aims to blur the line between utility and expression, resulting in pieces that feel both grounded and evocative.

CAPSTONE PROJECT

CAVE RAVE

Since the dawn of time, humans have gathered around light and rhythm to celebrate, connect, and release. From prehistoric fires to underground warehouse raves, dance has remained an ever lasting ritual of unity and expression.

As a lifelong rave-goer, I’m drawn to the vibrant atmospheres and radical acceptance found in these spaces. I find myself Inspired by the primal instinct in all of us to move to the music.

Through my collection of ceramic ravewear, I explore permanence, unity, and self-expression. By merging contemporary garment silhouettes with animalistic and prehistoric motifs, patterns, and imagery, I combine ancient tradition with modern rave culture, honoring dance as a timeless act of being human.
