CAPSTONE PROJECT
SOFT BODY, HARD PLACE
This project is titled “soft body, hard place” simply because these bodies we occupy are soft, and this world can be a very hard place. There is an observable disconnect —a misfit— between the softness of our bodies and the hardness of the places and spaces that make up the built environment around us. This project is existentially centred around my qualms with the hardness of this place. It is, as I am, driven by a central question: how can I make the world a softer place?
