Khaidar Bekezhanov
BIO
Khaidar Bekezhanov is a multidisciplinary designer and artist born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and currently based in Toronto. Coming from Kazakhstan, Khaidar’s work merges Western and Middle Eastern ideologies. Khaidar’s practice focuses on designing objects and experiences for real and surreal environments. With a huge interest in 3D, all of his designs challenge physicality and digital intangibility.

Upholster is a collection of objects and environments challenging and exploring the definition of upholstery. Upholstery - pliable material covering a rigid surface and/or the substance used for filling it.
