CAPSTONE PROJECT

SULJANA (EVOLVE)

This year's Capstone project, which I've spent a lot of time thinking about and re- searching, is the idea of how colours correspond with people's emotions, personalities, cultures, age, gender, behaviour, and so on, and how it's influenced in some way, which is known for Colour Psychology. Along with this theme, I'd like to work with dull colours, especially in greens and blues, mostly due to their qualities and aesthetic properties, but also how they can be communicated through different tones that are essential to me and how their moods and personalities are tied to me and how they are portrayed.

The classes in the first three years of the Craft and Design program, I aim to further develop my interest in art and design, I would concentrate on one or two parts of the subject, which I would then explore and develop. I enjoy playing with light, colour, subject matter, and media, combining and contrasting the various elements to get unique outcomes. In my spare time during the previous few years, I've dabbled in various parts of art and design, from abstract painting to realistic pencil portraits, comics, and fashion design, which I also will be part of this project in some way.
