CAPSTONE PROJECT
THE MUG, THE WHEEL, AND THE RED BRICK HOUSE
My work explores the relationship between memory, space, and objects, drawing inspiration from my childhood home and studio environment. By making and decorating objects such as cups, plates, and jars, I examine how functional forms can maintain their everyday use while also resonating with personal history. I am intrigued by how routines and familiar objects gradually shape my understanding of home and self. My process explores how the act of making can transform memory into something tangible. By drawing from ordinary objects and everyday spaces, I hope to show that profound joy and meaning often reside in the simplest places.
