Meghan is an Industrial Designer with a background in art. She has explored a wide range of mediums in several areas of interest, this experience guides her approach to creating products that are useful and engaging. She focuses on how people interact with products and considers not only functionality but the experience a design gives. She strives to create designs that enhance the interaction between people and the products they use in a meaningful way.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
EDEN
EDEN is an indoor agricultural system that aims to help people with limited gardening spaces to grow fresh plants, produce and herbs from inside the home. As housing costs rise people are now moving into apartments. With little to no access to outdoor gardening spaces it makes it difficult to maintain healthy plants and produce. My design focuses on creating a system that is equally functional, user-friendly and engaging allowing it to be seamlessly integrated into smaller residences while enhancing people's living spaces. This product aims to be space efficient, improve mental health and promote healthier eating habits and sustainable living practices.
